Privacy Policy

Gerento collects personal data in one place only: the Talk to Gerento contact form, which asks for a name, work email, phone number and optionally a company, role and message. That record is stored in our database and mirrored into our HubSpot CRM so we can reply. Site analytics are pseudonymous and carry no name, email or phone. Advertising and measurement tags load only after consent.

1. Who this policy covers

This policy applies to gerento.ai and the Gerento product surfaces linked from it. Gerento is an AI agent product for CPG food & beverage teams, built on the Tastewise data platform.

2. What we collect

  • Contact form data. Name, work email and phone number are required; company, role and message are optional. We also record which page and which agent role the enquiry came from.
  • Product analytics. Pseudonymous usage events — pages viewed, agents generated, dialogs opened. Event properties never contain a name, email address or phone number.
  • Advertising and measurement. Google Tag Manager loads conversion and remarketing tags. These run under Google Consent Mode v2 and are denied storage until consent is given.
  • Server logs. Standard request metadata retained for security and reliability.

We do not collect special-category data, and we do not ask for candidate applications — Gerento is not an applicant tracking system and does not accept job applications.

3. Why we use it

  • To respond to an enquiry you submitted (contract / legitimate interest).
  • To operate and improve the product (legitimate interest).
  • To measure marketing performance (consent, where required).

4. Who we share it with

  • HubSpot — enquiry records are written to our CRM so we can reply and track the conversation.
  • Mixpanel — pseudonymous product analytics.
  • Google — advertising and conversion measurement, consent-gated.
  • MongoDB Atlas — our managed database.

We do not sell personal data.

5. Job posting data

The job board indexes publicly available job postings from third-party sources for the purpose of illustrating which roles a Gerento agent can cover. Postings are attributed to the hiring company and link back to the original listing. Gerento is not the employer, does not accept applications, and does not represent any hiring organisation. If you are a hiring company and want a posting removed from the index, write to support@gerento.ai.

6. Retention

Enquiry records are kept for as long as the commercial relationship or conversation is live, and then archived. Analytics data is retained under the provider's standard retention window.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your personal data, and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. To exercise any of these, email support@gerento.ai and we will respond within the period required by applicable law.

8. Cookies and consent

Non-essential tags do not store or read identifiers before you answer the consent banner. You can change your answer at any time by clearing site data for gerento.ai, which restores the banner on your next visit.
